Our minds are exceptional at creating "Memory Markers" for specific events and storing them for later recall. When we think back on these experiences, we reconstruct them, allowing us to fully engage with the emotions and insights they provided us in the past. Although experiences may feel fleeting at the moment, they often seem to last longer when we remember them because we can access a vast number of memory markers.
