A selection of recently completed Church Fans based on my Memory Marker series of photographs. The church fan—both practical and symbolic—serves as a metaphor for how material culture holds memory. Like these fans, the places and artifacts I photograph contain layered histories that speak of family, ritual, and loss. Through digitally blended photographs created across Central Kentucky, I trace the quiet intersections of past and present, uncovering the fragile yet enduring imprint of shared experience.
